Wei Wuxian wastes no time in making himself comfortable, letting Lan Wangji's sleeve go just so he can situate himself and thoughtfully finishes his roll as Lan Zhan does the same. He lays on his side, and it's still too hot for blankets, so he's content with just a pillow. As Lan Zhan joins him on the bed, he can finally feel the worries and anxiety from earlier start to fade.

He takes the offered bun, hungry enough that he doesn't hesitate. It's warm and soft and he's halfway through it before he glances up to meet Lan Zhan's eyes, his own already heavy with anticipation of sleep.

"Lan Zhan," his voice is softer, barely stifling a yawn. His head barely hit the pillow and already the weight of the day sits heavy on him, sleep within much easier reach than he thought.

"Stay with me... okay?"
