"You've got it now, Lan Zhan." He finds his hand and intertwines their fingers. He nuzzles his neck and places soft kisses against it. Lan Wangji has every inch of his heart and it swells with happiness at being able to be in his embrace.

There is hesitancy..wondering if this is the moment he has been waiting for all day. He didn't want to say the words earlier when they were just in the pool. But the nighttime ambiance..the fire burning before them..the feeling of Lan Wangji's heart beating against him..all of it just seems to indicate that this might be the time to say them.
