[There's some bizarre things in her world, but the only possibility she can think of would be if her brain shorted on her again, which shouldn't be possible now that the relics that caused it are gone.]

Returning us to the time we left seems more significant, though. Even in my world, where we can travel huge distances of space almost immediately, time still passes. We can't just return back to when we left, that goes against science from across every populated galaxy.
