[He looks around at them, trying to pinpoint any of the stars that he does know. Curious about it as well but he can't really pinpoint any of them. It's as if this really is a different night sky.]

It does seem like these are a different set of stars then what we usually would see. So either Wonderland is in a very different part of the world, or it really is a whole new world with new stars.
