Wei Wuxian isn't greedy, but he is fiercely competitive. And collecting those tickets was just another thing he could try to excel in. But as usual, following the rules was pretty low on his list of priorities, and if he could get more tickets with alternative methods, like say... breaking into the machines, then why not?
