Perhaps it’s not right of Huaisang to goad Xichen into drinking but maybe he’s not thinking completely clear himself — but it still comes naturally and drinking with someone is always better than drinking alone.

Huaisang smiles and he draws the others robe tighter around himself and at least he thinks it shouldn’t be much further to go.

“I am sure,” he says lightly and offers the other a small smile. “I will make sure you don’t embarrass yourself too much,” he adds.
