He settles next to Hua Cheng and looks into the fire, "Do you think that the others back home have noticed we are missing?" Perhaps not considering Xie Lian has been gone for far longer then the ghost king. And certainly Hua Cheng would have noticed him gone. But then again...the man had been gone so perhaps time really has passed.
