WHAT: A double WangXian wedding in the gardens

NOTES: Threads will be marked with CW for the wedding night

Invitations have gone out to all the rooms and all the Oysters within the hotel. Whether you have met all four of the people involved in the wedding or not, it makes no difference. They all want you to join them in the celebration of their union! It's a wedding of two couples but also a celebration of the Mid-Autumn festival since it all will be happening on October 1.
For days leading up to October 1st, the kitchens have been busy with preparing a feast for the wedding. The staff is all aware of the upcoming event and the kitchen was opened up so the parties involved could help prepare a wide variety of foods for the guests. Included in that is the making of many mooncakes. A tasty treat that is customary for the Mid-Autumn Festival that also occurs on that date. Enough had to be made since each of the guests will be give a lovely wedding favor of a pair of mooncakes wrapped in paper bags painted with pretty lotus flowers or perhaps you will be given one with rabbits on the moon instead painted on them. If anyone happens upon the kitchen they might encounter one or both of the Lan Wangji's as they make sure all the food is correct and preparations for carting it all outside is made. Everything must be perfect for the evening.
As the sun rises in the sky, the friends and families of the wedding parties are welcome to gather outside the rooms of the two Wei Wuxian's. Inside their respective spaces they are taking great care in preparing for the evening, getting dressed in the wedding robes and placing their veils over their heads. They are sitting and waiting for their soulmates to arrive so they can be escorted to the ceremony. But outside the room, there are those that wish to challenge each of the Lan Wangji's before they can collect their soon to be husbands. Feel free to force Lan Wangji to prove his love for the one inside the room before he will be allowed to collect his beloved. Force him to eat a spicy pepper, or ask him questions to prove his love for the one inside the room. It's a game that Lan Wangji must pass in order to be ready to finally be with the one he loves. Once he has been allowed to enter the room, the guests will proceed downstairs to prepare for the ceremony.
As guests enter the gardens they notice the red lanterns and decorations everywhere. The hedge maze surrounds them and acts as a lovely backdrop that beautiful silk streamers and paper lotus flower decorations are hung on to give a warm feeling to the area. Longer streamers cross above their heads strung from trees to create a lovely red canopy for a little protection from the autumn sun in the sky. Soft music plays around them to welcome them to their seats. In the front of the room is a lovely alter of gold and a place where the official will be standing. There is space big enough for the two sets of grooms to be able to perform their bows simultaneously.
A donkey wearing a red halter with golden tassels and a matching blanket is wandering around the gardens. Munching on apples off the trees, he can easily be distracted by anyone that might offer him another as a snack. He'll eventually be lead closer to the ceremony to stand watch, clearly also a member of the family and as he gets led down the aisle to stand near the alter. Hopefully he will be well behaved during the process. Someone close to him might be sneaking him apples during it to keep him quiet.
When the time arrives, the two couples appear. The Wei Wuxians with red veils covering their faces, equally as bright and elegant robes upon their bodies. Golden embroidery and accents across many layers of long and flowing silks and sheers. Golden head pieces are currently obscured by the veils. They are being lead by the two Lan Wangjis, dressed in equally as striking men's robes with matching golden accents. Each of the four outfits is unique to the person who wears them but they are all equally as extravagant and lovely.

They walk down the aisle as one and stand before Lan Xichen who begins the ceremony. Three sets of bows take place as the two couples kneel before him. The first kowtow to Heaven and Earth. The second to show respect to their family. The third kowtow to each other. Vows will be done in private later but for now the couples stand. Veils are lifted so that the pairs can finally look into the eyes of their soulmates and can finish their ceremony with a kiss.
As the ceremony ends, the couples are now free to acknowledge their guests and begin the festivities.

All the food that had been prepared for days leading up to this moment was now placed on long tables with red tablecloths. There are smaller tables for the guests to sit at while they enjoy their meal. The spread is buffet style so that everyone can help themselves and included are more of the mooncakes like the ones within the gifts for the guests. There is also chicken cooked in various ways so that people have their choice of how they like it prepared. Also fruit and garden salads for those that don't eat meat. Including very festive looking watermelons that have been cut to resemble lotus flowers. Basically if the hotel is able to serve it, it has been represented in some way. The grooms didn't want any of the guests to feel left out and wanted to make sure that everyone left the party full and happy.
Don't forget the drinks! Since Wei Wuxian loves his alcohol, there is also plenty of that to go around. It will be flowing all night and you may even spot a couple jars of his favorite drink, Emperor's Smile, hanging out on the table as well. Better get those before they disappear! And for those that don't drink, don't worry. The tea provided is safe of all the hotels tricks. And water or other nonalcoholic beverages are available.

But most important is perhaps the table of desserts that has been laid out for everyone. Ice cream that is somehow being kept cold while outside is available to be placed on top of cakes and pies of every type that anyone can imagine. But standing above it all is a large several tiered wedding cake that will eventually be cut by the four grooms for you all to enjoy. But please don't touch until it has been divided! Cute little rabbits of white and grey decorate each layer of the cake and at the very top a decorative moon topper with a two sets of rabbits within it and lotus flowers along the edge of the moon. Each tier of the cake is a different flavor so make sure you try each one.
The grooms and their family will be seated in a long table by the hedge maze so feel free to come up and congratulate them or offer a toast. When the cake is cut they will be mingling along with everyone.
It wouldn't be a wedding without dancing. And as night falls and the food tables are cleared away, a wide open area is set aside for those that want to enjoy customary wedding activities. The hotel was kind enough to offer those dancing lessons a few months before so everyone should be well practiced on the moves. Various styles of music from all over the various worlds plays continuously through the evening. Where the DJ is..no one really knows but the music is coming from somewhere. Shout out a request and maybe it will be able to be played as well.

As the evening wears on, the Wei Wuxians start to pass out lanterns to each of the guests. They have spent weeks preparing them, painting them with various designs so that each one would be unique. Not only is the lantern ceremony an important part of the Mid-Autumn festival, but it holds a very special meaning for the WangXian pairs. One of their first memories together involved promises while sending off a lantern. On this night that is supposed to be the brightest moon of the year, they want to light up the sky with even more things in celebration.
A quick explanation of how to light it is given and when everyone is ready, their wishes are made and the lanterns are released up into the air. The pretty glow of each one fills the night sky as they rise up towards the stars, carrying the hopes and wishes of everyone with them.
That is how the evening will close and everyone is welcome to mingle around and enjoy the rest of the evening. The grooms will likely be heading off soon so say your goodnights and well wishes. They hope that everyone enjoyed the evening and makes sure that each guest leaves with their little lotus bag as a thank you for sharing the special day with them.

[ooc: The 4 grooms will each have toplevels that you are welcome to tag into. But this is also a mingle post! So please make your own top levels and tag each other as much as you want! This is a party!!]

"I love you too, Wei Ying. May the Heavens hear us and ties our souls together in this lifetime and the next. Now and forever."
With a nod of approval, he lights up the light. It glows with a bright light and whispers a prayer. "My lantern is ready. Is yours as well?"
no subject
he holds it up and slowly lets it go so that it can lift up into the night sky. He watches it as he repeats his wishes as it rises.
no subject
"The night and the stars are beautiful. Just like you. I see the stars and moon in your eyes." He smiles gently and then takes his hand, his now husband's hand, and his heartbeat begin to flutter.
no subject
Lan Wangji's words are poetry to his ears and he can't help but enjoy being drawn in by them. He turns to the other man and wraps his arms around him so that he can bury his face against his robes.
no subject
Wrapping his arms around him, he embraces him tightly, feeling the warmth and shape of his body. "Let's wish our guests good-night before we retire and thank them, to show them our gratitude." Since that's the most polite to do and wrap up their evening.
no subject
"Alright, let's go say our goodbyes!" Which unfortunately means he has to let go, and so he loosens his grip on the other man and reaches down to take his hand instead.
no subject
The wedding is a collaborative effort of everyone's hard work, so taking his hand, they walk back and say their good-nights and thank yous to every guest they passed. They collect well-wishes and congratulations, and he makes reminders that the gifts are free to take as a memento. The cleanup for everything else, the staff will handle it.
no subject
He never takes his hand out of lan Wangji's as they make the final rounds, accepting the congratulations and bidding every one a good night. And then Wei Wuxian sighs in relief as the last guest is thanked and then turns to look up at Lan Wangji.
"All that is left is to return to our room." Even the staff has agreed to watch over Lil' Apple for the evening with a promise to bring him back..not too early..the next day.
no subject
Hopefully, the donkey will be all right in the garden and it won't be too cold for them and the staff seems to be on good terms with them. Turning to his husband, "Yes, let's return to our room. I think I can't bear to wait any longer."
Holding his hand, he walks slowly. He doesn't want to be seen as overly eager. His patience for this night and his love is what earned him this day. He is calm, feeling peaceful, and all smiles.
He will walk with him to the elevator that will take them back to their room. The moment the door to Wei Ying's bedroom open, he's going to lift him up in his arms, carrying him princess style.
"Let me carry you to the bed, my husband." He whispered.
no subject
He yelps softly as Lan Wangji lifts him up into his arms, carrying him into the room and across the threshold of their home in this place. He holds onto the front of Lan Wangji's robes as he looks up at him, "I don't mind if you do, my husband."
The minute the word 'husband' leaves his lips he feels a tightness in his chest. An overwhelming feeling of love and realization that really only hits him at that moment. They are officially family as of today. No longer just lovers or friends or soulmates. But truly family and Wei Wuxian's heart couldn't be happier.
no subject
Sitting on the bed next to him, he waits patiently. He is nervous as this is their first wedding night together as husbands, and he wants it to be special for him.
"At long last, we're here. I think you can lift your veil now. I want to see your face."
no subject
Now that they are at this point, Wei Wuxian doesn't feel any of the tiredness from the day. All he knows is that he wants to spend the entire night just enjoying every inch of this man. As many times as they can possibly handle, fully enjoying the fact that they are officially together for all eternity. One day, two days..he doesn't care how many days they spend together before they emerge from this room. He wants to remember every second of it.
"Am I everything you had hoped for in a husband, Lan Zhan?"
no subject
"You are everything to me." He said. "I don't know what else to ask or say anything, but...before we start the night, do you want to take a look at the gifts first? Or we can look at it tomorrow and start making love?" He whispered, and he blushes becoming many different shades of red when he brought the topic up.
no subject
Let them have this moment to consummate their vows, to join completely as husbands for the first time. No matter what was given to them, nothing will compare to the gift they are about to share.
He breaks the kiss and looks up at him, "You can let go of all restraint, Lan Zhan. Claim me as yours completely."
no subject
"Wei Ying, you're the gift." He kisses him back, slow and unhurried, feeling the fullness of his lips. "You're like a star, you shine so brightly in the night."
With soft laughter, "How could you tell I'm controlling myself? It's more rewarding to wait for you. I'm going to undress now." He's going to undress, taking off the wedding robes as he wore many layers, one by one, and treating his robes carefully with care, folding it and setting it aside.
no subject
"Lan Zhan..are you supposed to be so calm on your wedding night? Can't the laundry wait until later? It makes me feel like you don't want to do this. We will never be wearing these again so do you really have to treat them carefully?"
He's teasing him as he continues to admire everything about the man he married. Both of them have scars from their years. Lan Wangji's were often caused by him and the things he put the man through after his death. Wei Wuxian's were mostly caused by this place. But regardless, their bodies are their story. The lives they have led together and so Wei Wuxian loves every inch of him.
no subject
He is meticulous by nature, realizing Wei Wuxian is teasing him over his careful treatment of his clothes. "Mn. I feel calm and peaceful because you love me." He said. Tilting his head aside, he is smirking slightly. "Do you like what you see? Shall I remove the pants next?"
no subject
Wei Wuxian is being surprisingly patient all things considered as he waits in his wedding clothes. He would have been happy to simply be ravished the minute they were inside this room, but there is something also to be enjoyed about drawing it out. Besides, there is plenty of time to be frenzied.
"But I'm also a little sad that my love makes you calm. Why can't you love me so much that you are inflamed with passion?" Wei Wuxian pouts a little as he continues to tease.
no subject
"All right..." With a huff, he undoes his pants and takes it off. He looks at Wei Ying still wearing his wedding gown and suddenly he's puzzled.
"I'm already inflamed with passion. I'm ready. Why Wei Ying isn't undressed...? I'll make love as soon as you're ready and we can start when you take off your wedding dress."
After some thought, "Or do you want me to take it off from you?"
no subject
"That is exactly what I want, Lan Zhan. You said I am a gift, so doesn't it make sense that you should unwrap me?"
He definitely wants their wedding night to be memorable and not like any other they have ever had. He didn't want his wedding clothes to be in some neat pile on the floor beside the bed. He wanted Lan Wangji to enjoy every second of seeing him undressed just as he got to enjoy it a moment ago.
no subject
Hearing that, he sees that as a challenge. "Well, that depends on how Wei Ying wants to be enjoyed once I unwrapped him. Once I undress you, what do you want me to do you? Remember, this is your wedding night, so I thought Wei Ying must have something in mind in how he wants his first night to go. My only desire is to make Wei Ying happy."
no subject
"I want my ears to burn with all the romantic things you want to say. I want to make love in every way either of us can ever think of. You can be gentle or rough and unleash anything you want or have held onto inside of you. I want it all. If you have a fantasy I can become anything, anyone..have any kind of extra body parts you want me to have." He can turn into anything Lan Wangji could ever desire and he will use that ability to its fullest extend to please him.
"You can tie me up, hold me down, take me in anyway you want to, as many times as you want to. I want it all."
His hands come forward, dragging along Lan Wangji's neck and down his chest as he sits back up with a smile, "You're about to see me naked as your husband for the first time. And even though this body hasn't changed, the circumstances have and I want to make sure you enjoy seeing every second of it. This is our one wedding night, Lan Zhan. We should have everything we desire." He already does, just by being here with him as his husband.
no subject
He closes his eyes as his lips were being brushed against his lips. Then looking into his eyes, he listens.
"As long as Wei Ying wants everything. I'll tell you everything. But you can't be anything, anyone, and don't be ridiculous about having extra body parts. You're just fine being the way you are, just being Wei Ying. I want you to be just you. Feel what you feel. I'm only happy when Wei Ying is happy. My only desire is to have Wei Ying look at me and think of only of me and desire me and nobody else. I'm selfish like that." He said, being completely honest.
But he smirks a little, his eyes darken. "We can do that all of that. But let's undress you first. Your arms up, my love." He's going to slowly undress him by removing his wedding robes, removing each piece by piece. The veil goes first, then pulling the sash to loosen him up, the outer layer of his robes, then the tunic, and then the pants and undergarments.
no subject
He smiles softly as Lan Wangji removes each of his layers, staying very still as the man slowly undresses. Once he is almost done, standing up so that his pants can fall to the floor. He kicks those layers aside and as he stands there he shifts closer to Lan Wangji. He takes his hands in each of his own and looks down at him.
"All of this body is now completely yours. Every scar, every inch, every muscle, and every beat of my heart. I'm your husband for eternity and I wouldn't change that for anything. I love you, Lan Zhan."
They said their vows in the garden, but it seems they have continued in the room as Wei Wuxian stands before him, bare in body and soul.
no subject
Lan Wangji is trying to be romantic and learning to. This is the first step. "I love you. Shall I say romantic things to you every night? I wasn't sure if that is something you like without making it too sweet." But sweet is what he wants from him. "But I want our night to be sweet."
He's going to wrap his strong arms around his husband to pull him into an embrace, eyes closed half-lidded holding a steady gaze, searching his lips for a kiss and gently pushes him to the soft bed, searching for feelings through physical contact. He wants nothing more than start gentle at first, making love to him, and spark his fire and passion. Slow and steady to start the night by warming up his body with his kisses and touches.
