The New Year arrives and even if there is no way for them to really tell time, just keeping track of days and a few conversations with staff helps them pinpoint when it happens. Not that anyone can tell what the year is, but at least people can welcome the start of a new year in this place.

Care to celebrate the new year? Find a supply of noisemakers or hats in one of the shops and create your own new year traditions. Might as well celebrate the fact that the hotel hasn't tried to mess with anyone lately!

And with the new year also brings January birthdays! Lan Wangji (both of them) are born during this month and so a dining hall has been set up with streamers and decorations. As well as cakes and desserts for everyone to enjoy. A special (slightly boring) meal of fruits and vegetables has been laid out as the day's specialty.

"Forever then. By your side." He kisses him with a quiet surrender and passion. Only his Wei Ying is in his heart and his mind. He climbs on the bed to curl up with him, keeping him warm and safe.

"Wei Ying, my love, my treasure. Wo ai ni..." He whispered as he kisses him passionately with more longing.

He presses into that kiss, eagerly and with the same passion that he feels from the other man. He tries to keep himself calm, knowing that the plan was to be gentle and loving. He wraps himself around him, holding him tightly. Happy to simply be in the man's arms.

He allows himself to melt into the kiss and the passion, opening himself up completely, moaning quietly. Every night, their togetherness and bond are what kept them strong when the hotels seem to be set against them.

He can appreciate the quietness lately. He holds his husband in his arms. How long they'll be able to go home together? He won't leave without him.

From his lips, he kisses on the hollowness of his throat, murmuring his name. His mind and heart is so full of him completely.

He hums his appreciation of those kisses on his neck, fingers entwining themselves in Lan Wangji's hair. No matter how many times they are like this, there is no growing tired of the feeling of Lan Wangji's mouth on his body, or him pressed against him. He would gladly stay wrapped in his arms, naked in bed, all day every day if it was humanly possible.

With moans of appreciation, he is grateful for this meal as his mouth explores over him, kissing him, licking over his skin, and with his teeth, gently bites him to leave his marks on him. When he pressed himself against him with desire, he simply feeds the fire.

He kisses him all over him, appreciating and worshipping his body, and once he pampers and loves his body. "I want Wei Ying." He whispers hotly.

With the bottle of lube, slickens his fingers with the liquid, he makes quick work to prepare him, fingering his hole to make him wet, knowing his body fully well.

He moans, feeling that sudden urgency in the other man as he starts to prepare him. No longer does he ever consider the discomfort from those fingers when they first start working on opening up his body.

"Remember you wanted to be gentle, Lan Zhan." He teases him as he enjoys that mouth, body and fingers as they make his body heat up with anticipation and desire.

"I love Wei Ying. With him, I'm always gentle with his body and his heart." He continues to pump his fingers inside of him, to make sure he's adequately wet and prepared for what's to come next. When he pulls out, he kisses and nips along his jawline and his throat.

"Ready? I'm going to put it in now." With a sharp intake of breath, he guides his length to his hole, seeking entry through the tight ring of muscles, and very slowly to allow his body to adjust to his size as he pushes his length deep inside of him.

"Mm..." He hums his confirmation that he is ready. Then gasps softly as he feels him start to enter his body. Lan Wangji is so big that it is always a little startling when it first happens. But his body has become used to his size and can accept it a lot easier then he used to.

"Nng...So good Lan Zhan."

"It will always be good. You are mine..." He murmured in a loving way. His mind shut-off, wanting to block every painful thing that happened in their lives and to simply forget. In the end, he knows, this Wei Ying is his, and one of his vows is to help him return home safe and sound. He swears it to the heavens.

"I hope so. I love you, Wei Ying...very much." He rocks his hips inside of him, nips on his throat so they can drown in their feelings and love for each other, and don't think of much else and take Wei Ying to a place where he is safe and warm in their nest.

He moans, "I love you too" between thrusts, feeling so many overwhelming feelings in his body and heart whenever he gets to be with Lan Wangji in this way. but even when they are simply in each others presence, all he knows is that his entire being is loved and feels love. He doesn't want that to ever change.

His body rocks with those thrusts, the feelings bubbling up inside of him as the pleasure surges.

Higher and higher, he continues to thrust, going harder and faster, his length rubs and strikes against his hidden spot. He doesn't need a warning, because Wei Ying is used to the nightly activity on most days.

He grits his teeth as he pounds against him, the sound of flesh slapping against flesh, and then with a hard groan, he slams against him to climax and release his load in a waves. "Wei Ying!" He cries out as he breathes hotly open mouth on his throat once the orgasm crashed through him in waves.

It takes a few more final trusts after he feels Lan Wangji's release before his own follows suit. It spills forth between them as he moans the man's name with happy contentment. His hips jerk from the effort as his back lifts off the bed slightly until he finishes and collapses against it again in exhaustion.

He sagged and relaxed, panting and riding on the high, and feeling satiated and satisfied as he spilled every drop inside of him, their connection is hot and dripping. He empties himself inside of him and reached his finished.

He kisses him and nuzzles him, he loves to see his happiness, and he's the cause of it. "I love you, Wei Ying. Does that feel good for you?"

"I love you too, Lan Zhan." He pants for air as he enjoys that high, wanting to curl up in his arms and sleep forever. "Mm...definitely felt good. It always does."

Kisses the top of his head and along his jawline, then resting his lips against his lips, looking into his eyes with a smile from a good nightly activity, and cradles him in his arms and against his chest.

"Mn. I think that's enough. Do you want to sleep?"

He nods and nestles against him, "I am if you are, Lan Zhan." He definitely feels content with the night but it is Lan Wangji's day and so it is up to him if he is content.

He's content. He's happy as long his husband is happy. His heart belongs to him forever and that's the source of his happiness. He hugs him tightly in his arms, and then loosens to help relax to sleep.

"Try to sleep, close your eyes, and have a good dream." He kisses him again. "Tonight, no worries. I'll always be with you. Good night, Wei Ying. Sweet dreams."

He kisses him back and then smiles as he closes his eyes. "Goodnight, Lan Zhan. Sleep well." He will be able to sleep well as long as Lan Wangji holds him close all night.

Which he did. He holds him in his arms until he drifts off to sleep, taking Wei Ying to a place where they both belong together in a dream. Together forever.
