The New Year arrives and even if there is no way for them to really tell time, just keeping track of days and a few conversations with staff helps them pinpoint when it happens. Not that anyone can tell what the year is, but at least people can welcome the start of a new year in this place.

Care to celebrate the new year? Find a supply of noisemakers or hats in one of the shops and create your own new year traditions. Might as well celebrate the fact that the hotel hasn't tried to mess with anyone lately!

And with the new year also brings January birthdays! Lan Wangji (both of them) are born during this month and so a dining hall has been set up with streamers and decorations. As well as cakes and desserts for everyone to enjoy. A special (slightly boring) meal of fruits and vegetables has been laid out as the day's specialty.

"Gege, it's okay. Every word you say and everything you do is a poem itself. You didn't know it, because I put it into words, statues, and paintings and then you can see how I see you." He grins. He wanted to cheer him up. Hua Cheng's confidence is a lot worse centuries ago, but he climbs back up from Hell itself...all for his sake.

"I love you." He whispers, and he leans forward, tilting his head, and kisses him sweetly.

He smiles and kisses him back, reaching up to place a hand gently against his cheek. he hardly thinks his life is the thing of poems. Perhaps more of a long odyssey. he breaks the kiss briefly, "I love you too." and then places his lips against him again.

If it's an odyssey, he's part of his journey lasting for millennia of a lifetime. He enjoys being touched by him. He hums, feeling loved and valued by him. He closes his eyes, enjoying the kisses, soft and sweet.

"Gege, come to bed and be my love." He murmured against his lips in the kisses.

He gives Hua Cheng another kiss before pulling away so that he can stand up, taking the man's hand in his so that he can draw him up to his feet as well. He backs towards the bed, bringing Hua Cheng with him.

It brings him pleasure to distract him, so he follows him to the bed. It's a grand big bed with red sheets and pillows fit for the ghost king and his lover. A kiss to spark his passionate mood where they can curl up comfortably with each other as the fireplace warms up the bedroom that looks like his paradise manor.

He crawls backwards onto the bed and then reaches up to guide San Lang on top of him. He draws the man close to him against and kisses him, with a love and passion that he holds in his body for this man.

It's a nice way to spend the evening together after a big holiday meal. He celebrates his love for his prince. With their bodies close on the bed, their legs entangled. He kisses soft and sweet, his immortal sweetheart.

"I love you." He whispered. He closes his arms around him for an embrace, fingers lacing, and starts grinding against him to build up the pleasure and passion.
